EDI is how trading partners send standard documents: invoices, purchase orders, shipping notices, tenders. QuickBooks is how many trucking offices keep payroll, costs, and revenue. Connecting them cuts rekeying and keeps financial reporting aligned with what actually moved.
For freight, that means cargo tenders, bills of lading, and invoices moving electronically, then revenue and expense landing in QuickBooks or Sage without a second invention of the line. EXSPEEDITE already does EDI 204, 990, 997, and 214, and already sends finished invoices to QuickBooks Online, QuickBooks Desktop, and Sage.
The 2024 article also wandered through retail and manufacturing examples. Those are not EXSPEEDITE customer stories. We kept the trucking reason: automate the partner document, keep the books honest, scale volume without adding clerks.
