Training
On-site, remote, and video. Then stay for the next facet.
Everyone in the shop should be able to run the tools. Training is flexible, professional, and specific to trucking. The hand-off is the point, not a slide deck.
How we teach
Developers and trainers stay in the walk-through so the clicks match the live system. Remote hardware setup when that is the right first step. Travel for Go-Live week. Ongoing consulting as new modules come on. Doug Murrey at Midway described that pattern for a major enterprise TMS conversion in 2008 and 2009. Jeremy Hunt at Royal said Scott was key getting the company up on a new package. TransLand said the same about a software transition.
Who it is for
Dispatchers, billing, and the person who will own IFTA. Not a generic software class. OnDemand customers train on the cloud product. Enterprise customers train on the same workflows. Video exists so a new hire is not waiting for the next onsite visit.
