Aerator Pad Fluidization

Fabric aerator pads or silicone fluidizing cones aerate the dry bulk material, transforming compacted cement, fly ash, or flour into a fluid emulsion that discharges smoothly through 4" butterfly valves.

Line Plug Prevention

Maintaining a balanced 2 PSI differential between tank pressure (14 PSI) and line pressure (12 PSI) prevents slugging, hose surging, and costly line plugs when conveying 80 feet up into storage silos.

Detention Defense

Pneumatic Dry Bulk Offload Safe Operating Checklist

Operation Stage Pressure Target Operational Protocol
1. Hose Coupling & Whip-Check 0 PSI (Atmospheric) Connect 4" heavy-duty rubber discharge hose to silo pipe. Fasten cam-lock ears with safety pins and secure safety whip-checks.
2. Tank Pressurization & Aeration 12 – 14 PSI Tank / Line Closed Engage blower PTO; open top air and aerator pad valves until tank internal pressure reaches 12–14 PSI to fluidize material.
3. Material Discharge Initiation Maintain 2 PSI Tank > Line Differential Crack rear hopper discharge valve slowly. Monitor line gauge; prevent line pressure from exceeding tank pressure to avoid plugging.
4. Clean-Out & Line Blow-Through Line Drops to 2 – 4 PSI When hopper empties, tank pressure plummets. Close hopper valve and blow clean air through line for 3 minutes to clear silo pipe.
