Real-Time Dynamic HOS Split-Sleeper Berth Optimization Engine
Eliminate dead driving hours and shipper detention bottlenecks by programmatically computing rolling 14-hour window pauses using real-time ELD duty clocks.
01 How Exspeedite AI Rewrites the 14-Hour Clock at Docks & Rest Areas
Under traditional dispatch, when a driver sits in a loading dock for 2.5 hours, that time consumes the continuous 14-hour on-duty window regardless of whether the driver was resting in the sleeper berth. Exspeedite’s AI Dispatch Copilot continuously evaluates the vehicle’s geofenced dwell time. If the driver logs 2 or 3 hours in the sleeper berth or off-duty at a receiver, the engine dynamically recalculates the driver's available 11-hour driving and 14-hour driving windows starting from the end of the prior qualifying rest period.
Rolling Clock Offset
Neither qualifying rest period counts against the 14-hour driving window, enabling carriers to schedule a delivery appointment that would otherwise trigger an HOS violation.
Pre-Dispatch Validation
Before a dispatcher assigns a load, the engine validates the planned transit route against live traffic, parking availability, and mandatory rest pauses.
Driver In-Cab Push Alerts
The system sends clear, easy-to-read prompts to the driver's cab tablet explaining the exact minute to begin and end each sleeper berth period.
