The Dual-Custody Rule
No individual person may ever have sole access to the vault or armored cargo compartment. Access requires two distinct credentials (fingerprint scan, digital keycard, or mechanical split-combination) entered simultaneously by the messenger and bank officer.
Barcode Seal Serialization
Every currency bag is sealed with a numbered tamper-evident closure. During custody transfer, handheld OCR/barcode scanners compare scanned serials against the digital manifest, identifying missing or swapped bags in real time.
Time-Delay Anti-Duress Locks
Drop safes and internal truck bulkheads enforce mandatory time-delays (3 to 15 minutes) between credential entry and solenoid release. Robbery attempts are neutralized because couriers physically cannot open compartments immediately on demand.
