Enterprise Trust & Reliability

Security, Architecture & Operational Continuity.

Enterprise motor carriers, 3PL brokerages, and private fleets rely on EXSPEEDITE to run mission-critical dispatch, billing, and EDI around the clock. Here is an unvarnished, factual explanation of our cloud architecture, data protection, and operational safeguards.

01 · Cloud Architecture

Modern Multi-Tenant Cloud SaaS

EXSPEEDITE is delivered as a zero-workstation-install cloud application running on high-availability cloud infrastructure. Users access the TMS via modern browsers (Chrome, Edge, Safari) without local software installs, VPN dependencies, or dedicated server hardware maintenance.

  • Database Partitioning: Logical tenant isolation ensures each carrier's data, customer directories, tariffs, and accounting ledgers remain segregated.
  • Sub-Second Execution: Query indexing and database connection pooling maintain sub-second response times under peak load staging.
02 · Encryption

Data Encryption in Transit & At Rest

All communication between your dispatchers, shipper portals, outside drivers, and the EXSPEEDITE cloud is protected by industry-standard encryption protocols.

  • In-Transit Encryption: TLS 1.3 / TLS 1.2 with modern cipher suites enforced across all HTTPS endpoints, portal interfaces, and API connections.
  • At-Rest Encryption: Storage volumes, database tablespaces, and archived files use AES-256 encryption at the infrastructure layer.
03 · Access Governance

Granular RBAC & Multi-Office Security

Every member of your organization accesses only the specific companies, branches, modules, and financial records necessary for their operational role.

  • Multi-Company & Office Boundaries: Restrict dispatchers, brokers, and sales teams to specific offices without cross-company exposure, while leadership retains consolidated oversight.
  • Role Permissions: Separate permission profiles for dispatchers, load planners, accounting clerks, safety officers, and system administrators.
  • Outside Portal Boundary: CheckPoint GPS links and Pipeline shipper portals are strictly read-only and restricted to designated shipment tokens—outside users cannot access internal TMS screens.
  • Session Governance: Automatic idle session timeouts and credential authentication safeguards.
04 · Disaster Recovery

Automated Backup Strategy & Redundancy

Your operational freight records, historical invoices, BOL images, and rating tariffs are protected against hardware failure or corruption.

  • Automated Daily Backups: Nightly database snapshots taken automatically with multi-zone geographic replication.
  • Point-in-Time Recovery: Transaction logging allows point-in-time state restoration in the event of an operational anomaly.
  • Document Preservation: Attached PODs, BOL scans, and rate confirmation PDFs are stored with redundancy across durable cloud object storage.
05 · API & Webhook Security

Secure Integrations & Telematics Feeds

Machine-to-machine integrations are protected by token authentication, cryptographic signatures, and retry resilience.

  • HMAC SHA-256 Signatures: Webhook milestone transmissions are cryptographically signed to prevent payload spoofing.
  • Bearer Token Authentication: REST API endpoints require authenticated API bearer keys with configurable IP restrictions.
  • Retry Resilience: Outbound webhook deliveries implement exponential backoff with decorrelated jitter to ensure delivery without overloading recipient endpoints.
06 · Data Ownership

100% Customer Data Ownership

Your operational freight data, customer lists, rating tariffs, and driver settlements belong exclusively to your company.

  • No Data Monetization: We do not aggregate, broker, or sell your freight rates, carrier lanes, or customer contact data to third parties.
  • Export Portability: Complete export capability for operational records, billing registers, and driver settlement histories.

Direct Engineering Escalation & Support Architecture

In transportation, software downtime stops trucks and halts revenue. When you encounter an operational blocker or need a configuration adjustment in EXSPEEDITE, you are not handed off to an outsourced tier-1 helpdesk reading scripts. Support is handled directly by transportation systems architect Scott Elliott and our core engineering staff who know the code, the database, and freight operations.
