EUV pellicles consist of carbon nanotube or silicon membranes only 20 to 50 nanometers thick. Any shock impulse exceeding 0.3G induces excessive dynamic sag, causing the membrane to contact the patterned mask or tear.
Transit cases suspend the reticle pod at its exact center of mass using 8-axis stainless steel wire rope coils, providing uniform shock attenuation across vertical, lateral, and torsional impact planes.
Before dispatch, telemetry loggers undergo a 5-point NIST-traceable shaker table calibration to eliminate temperature-induced baseline drift and ensure sub-0.005G accuracy during cross-country transport.
